Create and Assign a Vehicle

Keeping track of your Fleet is easy in roofEdge.  

Let's create a vehicle record and then assign that vehicle to Tom McHenry to drive.  Click Create Vehicle.  Uploading a photo of your vehicle is optional.  Enter in the vehicle Year, manufacturer, model, vehicle identification number, color, license plate number, State the vehicle is registered in, and the starting mileage.  When finished, click Save.  

Now, we have a knew vehicle record that we can assign to Tom McHenry to drive.  Click the vehicle id and then Assign vehicle in the action menu.  A modal will pop up.  Search for Tom in the Employee field and then enter the date the vehicle was assigned to him.  

That's it.  You've added a new vehicle to your fleet and assigned to an employee as the driver.
